In His Own Words
"I am a software engineer with a passion for developing solutions to an organization's toughest opportunities. The best systems are the ones built to a business's time-tested practices and specific industry — easy to use, easy to navigate, and presenting the right information to the right person."
Mike K. brings 20 years of hands-on experience designing software and systems for businesses and public sector organizations — inventory control, manufacturing modules, ERP/CRM integrations, and performance-tracking applications. He has progressed from programmer/analyst to IT manager to general manager of his own consulting practice, owning both the engineering and the operational accountability for the systems he ships.
His sweet spot is the intersection of Salesforce, ERP platforms (QAD, Dynamics GP, Sage, SAP), and custom integration work — building REST APIs, MuleSoft/Boomi flows, and tailored applications that fit the way a business actually operates rather than forcing the business to fit the software.
Best fit: organizations that value staying current with technology, appreciate creative solutions tailored to their workflows, and want a senior engineer who can talk to the floor, to leadership, and to the systems all in the same day.

Consulting & Technology Firm — Appleton, WI
Founded and runs a consulting practice that delivers data-driven solutions across service and manufacturing industries, specializing in CRM, manufacturing, and ERP systems with a strong emphasis on Salesforce and QAD. Designs custom data interfaces between manufacturing systems, CRM, and ERP platforms, and leads Salesforce implementation projects across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Food Manufacturing Company — Green Bay, WI
Served on the upper management team for a food manufacturing facility, implementing custom ERP modules and systems for Microsoft Dynamics GP — covering productivity, finance, food safety, quality assurance tracking, labor analysis, and advanced recall procedures. Developed .NET applications that communicated with Dynamics through eConnect. After acquisition by a Fortune 100 parent, focused on systems integration and modification — customizing and implementing Vorne boards, automated packaging systems, and a PLC-driven waste tracking system that provided statistics for production waste minimization.
Software Solutions Provider — Green Bay, WI
Developed customer-specific modifications to an in-house warehouse inventory control system. Traveled to clients to define specs, deploy software, and train users. Built software in VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET integrating with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DBase, and AS400. Created numerous interfaces between the WMS and ERP systems including Dynamics GP, SAP, and QuickBooks. Designed a redesigned GUI for the base WMS platform and a WYSIWYG label generation system for Datamax and Zebra printers.
